World Whiskies Awards 2025 and Icons of Whisky 2025

This year's winners of the World Whiskies Awards were announced at a ceremony in London. The winners in various whisky categories were selected by an expert jury in blind tastings and the best design was also honoured. Special attention is always paid to the winner of the World's Best Single Malt category. This year, the GlenAllachie 12 Year Old received this award.

The Icons of Whisky awards were also part of the ceremony. Persons and teams who have shown particular commitment to the whisky sector are honoured with these titles. For example, Holyrood Distillery was named Distiller of the Year 2025 and Jaime Jordan from Irish Distillers was named Distillery Manager 2025.
