St. Kilian Batch 7: Five seats offered at the blending table

Is there a whisky fan that doesn’t dream of being involved in the creation of a new release? Five interested ones will get the chance to make that dream come true and be a whisky blender for one day. Okay, to be correct it’s not a whisky that will be created but a not-yet-whisky: The 7th batch of the Spirit of St. Kilian is coming up.

If you don’t know the Spirits of St. Kilian yet, take a look here: Spirit of St. Kilian Batch 1 to 6 are very different ones and show the variety of casks that are being stored at the distillery in Rüdenau maturing St. Kilian Single Malt Whisky.

To get the chance to be part of the blending team one has to be at least 18 years old, visit the website of the distillery and apply for the “job”. The winners will be informed on 29th December and invited to join the blending team on 4th January 2019 - in Rüdenau/Germany of course. They will learn a lot about blending before it’s up to them to taste several cask samples.
