Nc'nean ex-bourbon single cask bottling: Six-year-old whisky from the distillery's first year of production

A special editionon the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Whisky.de

Fans of Nc'nean Single Malt Whisky now have the opportunity to purchase an exceptional edition from the distillery: To mark the 30th anniversary of Whisky.de, a six-year-old single cask bottling at cask strength is available exclusively here in the online shop. The whisky comes from the Highland distillery's first year of production and was matured in an ex-bourbon cask.

The batches of the classic Nc'nean Organic are usually married from ex-bourbon and ex-wine casks, so that the pure bourbon cask edition presents a slightly different flavour profile. Creamy, warming and sweet toffee notes, grapefruit flavours, vanilla and accents of apricot jam are promised by the Nc'nean AON Ex-Bourbon Cask 6 Years, which has not been chill-filtered and was bottled in natural colour at 57.1% ABV.

Zero-waste and renewable energies

The Nc'nean distillery has been producing their organic whisky on the Morvern Peninsula since 2017 and has already made a name for itself internationally in this short time. Founder Annabel Thomas consistently pursues a zero-waste philosophy and recycles the waste generated during production. Only renewable energies are used to run the distillery. Even the bottle does not deviate from the resource-saving concept and uses a 100% recycled clear glass bottle.

Incidentally, this Nc'nean Single Cask is not the only anniversary bottling from Whisky.de. You can find other special editions here in the shop.
