The bourbon, which will be released annually in future, offers 50% ABV

The Rebel brand, which is also popular in Europe, will be expanded with a new bottling in future: Lux Row Distillers is announcing the annual release of a small batch of 10-year-old Rebel Single Barrel Bourbon. The single barrel bottling will be available in the USA at a price of $99.99. It is not yet known to what extent it will also be available here in Europe.

"This annual Rebel 10-Year Single Barrel shows how Rebel is bridging the gap between its heritage and modern tastes," said Lux Row Distillers Master Distiller John Rempe. "I think consumers will appreciate the hand-crafted single barrel process when they experience the robust, rebellious flavor and mature finish of this extra smooth sipping whiskey."

On the flavour, the latest press release says: "With a golden amber glow, Rebel 10-Year delivers a nose that opens with vanilla and dark fruits followed by citrus and oak, a palate of caramel and citrus, and a velvety smooth oak finish with a hint of spice."

The Rebel 10 Year Old Single Barrel Bourbon is bottled at 100 proof / 50% ABV like the classic Rebel 100 Kentucky Straight Bourbon.

Luxco, which owns Lux Row Distillers, was founded in 1958 by the Lux family in St. Louis, and in addition to Rebel Whiskey, Luxco's portfolio includes brands such as Ezra Brooks, Blood Oath, Yellowstone Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, Saint Brendan's Irish Cream and The Quiet Man Irish Whiskey.
