The Irish Teeling Whiskey Company launches the fifth and final bottling of "The Revival”

Revival Volume V – this is the name of the last of the five bottlings of the Irish company's award-winning single malt whiskey series, which was founded by Jack Teeling at the end of 2012. The Revival Series was launched to celebrate the opening of the Teeling Whiskey Distillery and the revival of the Dublin distilling tradition.

Exceptional cask finish

The Teeling Revival Series represents single malt whiskeys with an age statement and a unique cask maturation, without chill-filtration, bottled at 46% abv and available in limited editions in selected markets. It was launched in November 2015 by a 15 Year Old whiskey matured exclusively in ex-Rum casks ("The Revival"), followed by a 13 Year Old with Calvados finish ("Volume II"), a 14 Year Old with Pineau des Charentes finish ("Volume III") and a 15 Year Old single malt finished in unique Muscat Port barrels ("Volume IV").

Toasted almond and pressed grape

This series is now completed with the fifth bottling of The Revival ("Volume V"). It consists of a 12 Year Old single malt initially matured in ex-Bourbon barrels and refined with a finish in a combination of Cognac and Brandy casks. This exceptional finish gives the whiskey distinct aromas of toasted almonds, freshly pressed grapes and spicy cinnamon notes. Limited to only 15,000 bottles and, as each of The Revival bottlings comes in a high-end decanter style packaging, Volume V will soon be available in our online shop.

New Single Pot Still

Teeling has appropriately chosen the time to end the series now. This year, the first Teeling Single Pot Still distilled in the distillery in 2015 will be launched, marking the first distilled Irish whiskey in Dublin for over 40 years. We will of course keep you informed.
