Kammer-Kirsch takes over import and distribution of Loch Lomond Single Malt Whiskys in Germany
Loch Lomond Whiskys will be the official spirit at the golf championship "The Open"
The distillery Kammer-Kirsch GmbH, based in southern Germany, is expanding its wide range of whiskies on 1 May 2018 to include the single malt whiskies from Loch Lomond Distillery. Last year Kammer-Kirsch had already taken over the import and distribution of the single malt whiskies of the Island Collection Inchmoan and Inchmurrin, the single grain whisky as well as the signature blended whisky and the blended whisky Clansman. With Loch Lomond Original, Loch Lomond 12 Years Old and Loch Lomond 18 Years Old, Kammer-Kirsch is now able to offer its customers a comprehensive selection of Loch Lomond whiskies from one single source.
Loch Lomond Single Malt Whiskies
Loch Lomond Original: elegant, full-bodied and soft with an unique background character and a hint of smoke and peat
Loch Lomond 12 Years Old: distinct fruity character of peach and pear, nicely mixed with the sweetness of vanilla and hints of peat and smoke, typical for Loch Lomond whiskies
Loch Lomond 18 Years Old: sweet character, resulted from long ageing in the best oak casks, combined with a light, characteristic notes of peat and smoke and a balanced finish
Since 1814 the independent Loch Lomond Distillery has been producing the finest Scottish whisky with unique characters in perfect balance. Today in Alexandria on the shores of Loch Lomond, the distillery bears the name of the most picturesque and famous of all Scottish lakes. Loch Lomond Distillery is known for its passion for innovative production processes and the high quality of its whiskies, which has been confirmed in many international competitions. Most recently, Loch Lomond won the Double Gold Medal for Loch Lomond 12 Years Old Single Malt and Gold Medal for Loch Lomond Original at the San Francisco Spirits Competition.
Whisky and Golf
The Loch Lomond Group has entered into a prestigious five-year partnership with "The Open", the most international major golf championship. The partnership also includes support for the "Ricoh Women's British Open" and will present the full range of Loch Lomond whiskies worldwide. The award-winning range of Loch Lomond whiskies will thus become "The Spirit of the Open" for these prestigious golf tournaments.
In addition, the independent Scottish distillery has entered into a high-profile partnership with the internationally renowned Scottish golf professional Colin Montgomerie to promote the range of award-winning single malts whiskies throughout the world.
