The Irish whiskey with a finish in a Rye cask celebrates the start of spring

With Lá Le Bríde, the second edition in the "Wheel of the Year" series of the Irish Dingle Distillery has been released. After the Dingle Samhain, which symbolises the start of winter, the Lá Le Bríde heralds the arrival of spring. The single malt whiskey, which is bottled un-chillfiltered and in natural colour at 50.5% vol, is available at retailers now, e.g. in the Whisky.de online shop .

The Celtic wheel is divided into eight sections according to the rhythm of the seasons and the solstices and equinoxes. Based on this, Dingle will release eight whiskeys in the Wheel of the Year series plus an additional ninth for Lá an Dreoilin, the "Day of the Wren", an actuall press release informs.

So after the Samhain and the Lá Le Bríde, we can look forward to Bealtaine, Lúnasa, Grianstad an Gheimhridh, Cónocht an Earraigh, Grianstad an Samhraidh, Cónocht an Fómhar and Lá an Dreoilín. For the Dingle Lá Le Bríde, triple distilled single malt whiskey was matured in bourbon casks and finished in rye casks. The batch comprises a total of 10,000 bottles.
