Nosing: there is some peat smoke but it is not so fierce as the Islay malts. After a couple nosings and getting past the "smokiness" (again, not comparable with typical Islay) these are the notes I found.
Taste: up front, then it goes a different route...very long lasting. then throughout then hard to describe, definitely funky. all the way through.
Finish: very distinct and long lasting. unlike anything else.
Comment: Just a very unique whisky. Great for those who are tepid about peated malts. Don't let that scare you away from this, it is not on the same level as Ardbeg or those type of whiskys.

Nosing: sweatnes, nuts, milk or even white chocolate, dry fruits, a bit of smoke
Taste: A bit spicy, a bit salty, a bit bietter, a bit sweet, a bit smoky
Finish: Fading quickly
Comment:
It is a whisky which has everything "a bit" in it mixed together. Maybe someone can like it for it's complexity, but for me it is kind of boring and deffinitely not pleasant dram. Maybe can be better in much older version. But for now I am done with Springbank destilery alas, cause they have nice family business.
