Longrow Peated
The very smoky Longrow Peared is produced by the Springbank Distillery. Very smoky and intense, it is very similar to the near located island of islay. The malt of Longrow is kilned over a peat fire for 48 hours, which is twice as long as the other Springbank bottlings. The Whisky is distilled twice and each year only about 100 casks are bottled.

Comment:
very norm peaty type whisky. But when you add a drop of water, you can feel more peat and seaweed flavor.
Palate has more citrus with peaty, still has a little bit strong alcohol.

Comment: Smoky yet light. Very light comparing to those Islay malts. Another kind of appreciation to peated malts.
