Nosing: Peat Smoke musty earthiness. mushroom. MaltHerbsHayZitrus very reminiscent of the Benriach Curiositas 10. chocolate chip cookie, slightly burnt on the bottom.

Taste: Peat SmokeMaltHerbs more earthy notes. Grass mixed with smoke. box says 50ppm, maybe i'm just getting accustomed to peat, but it's a very friendly peat compared to Islay. More integrated than some other Highland peated whiskys. SweetVanillaCaramel well integrated with the smoke.

Finish: Bonfire SmokeFruitOilAlmondsHerbsHoney

Comment: a solid non-Islay peated whisky. stands on its own. one of the best for non Islay peat.
