All tasting notes
Taste: more earthy notes. mixed with smoke. box says 50ppm, maybe i'm just getting accustomed to peat, but it's a very friendly peat compared to Islay. More integrated than some other Highland peated whiskys. well integrated with the smoke.
Finish:
Comment: a solid non-Islay peated whisky. stands on its own. one of the best for non Islay peat.
Taste:
Finish:
Comment: The nose had some rotting sea weed, not unpleasant. Very strong walnut.
