Nomad Nomad
Richard Paterson blends many 5 to 9 year old Scottish Single Malts and a small amount of Grain Whisky, for the Nomad Outland Whisky. The Whisky was then married together in Sherry casks. The following finish breaks with the usual Whisky customs: the Blend was transported to Spain to finish in 30 year old PX Sherry casks for another year. The producer of the Nomad, the Sherry producer Gonzalez Byass, describes the Blend as a new Whisky type, an 'Outland Whisky'.
