Johnnie Walker Blue label Ghost and Rare Pittyvaich
In the Johnnie Walker Ghost and Rare series, Dr Jim Beveridge combines Malts from long-closed distilleries with different Malts and Grain Whiskies. In this fourth edition the Speyside distillery Pittyvaich, which was only opened between 1974 and 1993 plays the main role. It is one of the distilleries with the shortest operating time. Beveridge and his team added Malts from the 'ghost' distilleries Port Dundas and Cardebridge as well as Mannochmore, Auchroisk, Cragganmore, Strathmill and Royal Lochnagar.
