Nosing: Touch of Sherry with a good dose of Oak. Don’t take this negatively but it has a nail polish note that I seem to pick up on in some of the low age Whiskies. Reminds me of Balvenie 12 and at £22 a bottle (June 2019 in Scotland) it’s an absolute bargain.
Taste: Sherry, Sweet, Oak
Finish: Doesn’t linger. Not much mouth watering and doesn’t burn on the way down.
