Nosing: and hemp rope, petrol/tarr, mineral character,, very slight
Generally a robust nose with just the right amount of complexity that doesn't overwhelm. Then again, not quite for beginners :)
Taste: clay, sand, , peat smoke covers the palate, phenols/petrol, slight , vague , ,a little bit of heat, juniper berries,
Finish: , Earthyness, white , , , a little savory/umami taste like white mold salami
Comment: Nice LONG finish, with a clinging peat smoke taste. As the sweetness dissipates from the finish, interestingly besides the herbal notes I flet a little bit of horseradish taste.
They could've filtered it even less. I could tell that the scotch mist isn't quite as dense as I expected once I diluted the whisky with a bit of water. Still a damn fine single malt. Few beat it at it's price range. 4/5
