Compass Box The Spice Tree
An especially made cask mix is used for the Compass Box Spice Tree. With drum covers from French and the body from American oak, those casks were strongly toasted at Spice Tree. The Whisky also matured longer than normally. The used Single Malts all came from the Highlands. The independent bottler Compass Box is calling itself 'Whiskymaker' and sees itself more as a Whisky artist than as a producer. The Team around John Glaser is always trying to go new ways. Along the way, the process of production is made transparent to the customers.
