Possibly the greatest bargain of blended Scotchs there ever was.
Always reliable and an incredible value, you could truly make yourself believe to detect all individual Islay distilleries in it. It had the peat of Laphroaig, Bowmore and Caol Ila for sure, while the fruity notes pointed at Bunnahabhain, Bruichladdich and maybe even Ardbeg.
It certainly was a lively, young spirit, but also integrated its grain component magnificently.
Still hunting for the long-gone 15Y.
