1806 wurde Cambus durch Jon Mowbrauy gegründet.Die alten Lagerhäuser von Cambus reichten bei weitem nicht aus, um die große Whisky Produktion von Cambus für die gesetzlich notwendigen 3 Jahre zu lagern. Deshalb entstand nicht weit von Cambus entfernt ein Komplex aus 200 Lagerhäusern.
