Details about the Distillery
The new Bernheim distillery was opened in 1992. The small distillery buildings are dominated by the huge warehouses. The Bernheim distillery traditionally produces bourbons with two fundamentally different grain compositions (wheat and rye bourbons).
The great and universally known I. W. Harper whiskey is produced here, as well as the lesser known Old Charter. Probably the best bourbon from Bernheim is the President's Reserve.
