Albyn was closed in 1920 and then demolished nine years later.
The distillery had a 14 foot diameter mash tun, a 14 horsepower steam engine, a large boiler (24 feet long, 8 feet in diameter), 6 washbacks with a capacity of 5,000 gallons.
Furthermore Wines and Wash stores, 3 stills (1 with 2,500 gallons, 1 with 1,650 gallons and a third with 580 gallons capacity.
5 warehouses existed with a capacity for 2,000 barrels.
The annual output was 85,000 gallons.
