Talisker 43 Years Xpedition Oak

The 43 year old Talisker Xpedition Oak finished in very unique casks: The staves are made with the boards of the boat in which the famous single-handed sailor James Aiken took the challenge of the most important event of ocean sailing: the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge. The sailors have to sail 3000 miles over the untamed sea from La Gomera to Antigua to complete the challenge. Ten casks could be made out of the staves, in which the Talisker finished. Additionally to the special bottles, a shard of the original boards is within each package. Limited bottling.
