Edradour 6 Years - 2008 Super Tuscan
This Scotch whisky was matured fine super tuscan red wine casks. The Edradour whisky quickly adopted the intens fruity aroma and the beautiful colour from the residuals inside the wood. The strong 46% and the natural not chill filtered style of this whisky result in a full aroma.

Well balanced, caramel, vanilla, fruity wine and some alcohol

Nosing:
Very dry, with alcohol. Dry wood, leathery and with sawdust. Otherwise dark dried fruits and a hint of dark chocolate. In the background toffee and raisin.
Taste:
Woody and dry, fruity but also very spicy. Sea salt and green pepper, some iodine, also a good amount of cinnamon and sugar. The fruit is significantly sweeter than in the nose
Finish:
Oily and medium with spicy oak and creamy sweetness
