Sweet arrival, honey, biscuity malt. More general fruitiness than on the nose. Peppery heat builds over time. Much fuller body by comparison to the nose.

Medium to long, spicy and drying over time.
Comment:
I'd seen this on the supermarket shelves for some time but had never given it a chance before. I have to say, that it leaves a very good impression when you consider the price. I can thing of plenty of more expensive single malts that don't show as well as this, the value is definitely there. The nose is a bit light, but on the palate it is punchy and refined, the finish is peppery with almost chilli heat. Definitely something I'll keep around in the cupboard this summer.
