Light and fruity, Red apple and lime. Vanilla. Medium to light intensity.
Taste:

Sweet arrival, honey, biscuity malt. More general fruitiness than on the nose. Peppery heat builds over time. Much fuller body by comparison to the nose.
Finish:

Medium to long, spicy and drying over time.
Comment:
I'd seen this on the supermarket shelves for some time but had never given it a chance before. I have to say, that it leaves a very good impression when you consider the price. I can thing of plenty of more expensive single malts that don't show as well as this, the value is definitely there. The nose is a bit light, but on the palate it is punchy and refined, the finish is peppery with almost chilli heat. Definitely something I'll keep around in the cupboard this summer.

Taste:

Finish: medium.
Comment: This is very pleasant stuff. Light and effervescent, ginger, grapefruit and grassy flavours. Really perfect for whisky highballs, but also very refreshing on the rocks or even neat. If you are after a light refreshing whiskey, this comes highly recommended. This punches above its weight in terms of value for money - 89/100.
