St. Kilian 6 Years - 2017 Double Maturation ex PX & ex Bourbon
The basis for this mild bottling from the new Small Batch series was a Pedro Ximénez Sherry Butt. As a result of a leak, the one-year-old spirit was divided into three ex-bourbon barrels of different sizes and matured in them for a further four years. This single malt whisky is characterized by a rare “double maturation” at St. Kilian and impresses with a successful combination of creamy sweetness, ripe fruit, spicy oak and dark chocolate.
