Comment: I pretty much stumbled upon this at a liquor store. For $30USD I figured "what the heck" If it was bad, I wasn't out too much cash. It turns out to be a really fine, light, sweet, fruity dram. I was pleasantly shocked that it is SO good! Ironically, not a few days after I purchased and tasted, Herr Horst came out with his video tasting of the same! We were both suitably impressed! This dram is light, fruity, sweet, a little spicy, not a long finish, but for $30USD it's a real bargain! I can be dangerous, because it is so smooth and goes down very easy. This is a perfect Whisky to have on hand for someone who is new to Whisky and you don't want to overwhelm them with something powerful. It's not terribly complex, but has enough character to lend to a "what are you smelling/tasting" discussion. This will now be part of my "easy drinking" offerings for newbies, along with Glenmorangie 10 and perhaps Glenfarclas 10 or 12. This light(er) dram is also perfect as a before dinner drink, especially if you plan to follow dinner with something more robust. For the price it's wonderful. If I could rate as a 3.5 I certainly would most certainly do so. A definite buy!
