The Mackmyra matured for almost 5 years in a gravity barrel from which 57 bottles could be filled. (“Gravity barrel” = belly made of bourbon barrel, lid made of Swedish oak).
The whiskey has a particularly smoky, full-bodied taste with some peat, caramel and a little wood and nuts
