Nosing:
Taste:
Finish:
Comment:
Eye: there is no visible difference in color comparing to other types of Grant's whisky - it's light amber.
Nose: A very young whisky with marked but not intrusive aroma of alkohol. Not to volatile, but notes of malt, some caramel, some fruits (probably pear) can be pulled out from the whisky.
Taste: Sweetnes known from Grant's Family Reserve is toned down by influence of Ale cask which gives it additional tones of dark chocolate and coffee, but it's still pretty sweet. Present notes of fruit flavors, some citrus, maybe pear.
This whisky seems to be a more gentle brother of Grant's The Family Reserve.
