Nosing: Fresh, nice, sprightly floral, sweat.

Taste: Disappointing. Very delicate, floral, slightly sweat but most of all feels taste of alcohol itself which makes it instantly bitter.

Finish: short and bitter.

Comment: For those who like something very delicate, maybe for coniac's fans.
It is not for those who like intense taste of whisky, who are looking for complex one, who don't like when alcohol is on the first place on a palate.
For me one of the worst I've ever had, reminding coniac more than whisky.

Comment:
Fruit, vanilla. An all-around, pleasing scotch with a wide appeal. Little or no smoke. No peat.

Nosing: Sweet Honey Vanilla Malt Barley Peach Pear Lemon

Taste: Malt Barley Oak Sweet Pear Lemon Lemon Peel Floral Mint

Finish: medium-short

Comment: A nice entry level speyside-style, not offensive but a little alcohol burn, some room for improvement in recent bottlings. Glen Grant 10Y is this but better. 79/100.
26. Mar 2019
Nosing: Caramel Vanilla Green Apple Pear Lemon

Taste: Sweet Green Apple Malt Nuts Spices

Finish: medium to long

Comment: On the nose, is plentiful fresh unripened fruit - green apple, pear and lemon. A sweet sourness of a good mead is present coupled with warm notes of vanilla, caramel and a hint of malt. On the palate, this whisky is exceptionally smooth and easy to drink. It is rather mild, a great entry dram. Towards the finish one finds some spice, oak and a welcomed nuttiness.
