Comment: a great simple go-to whisky. currently though i can only find this version in 50ml minis as the double cask is the 12y standard now...hopefully they got back to this. also really wish glenlivet would bottle at 43%.

It feels like a basic scotch, not much potential nor excitement entering into it, but a "scotch by any other name," if I had to admit it. Excitingly sweet on the nose, somewhat lackadaisical on the tongue, and the finish feels like a typical expectation. If I never find my preferred on shelf, I would see this as a go-to, however. With respect, it does it's job.
