Nosing: Sherry Caramel Orange Peach
Classic shery cask nose. Caramel, orange peel, fresh nectarine.

Taste: Vanilla Zitrus Lime Orange Spices
Sweet, medium intensity arrival.Vanilla, Mixed citrus, orange and lime. Some spiciness develops over time

Finish: Spices Nuts
Medium to long, nutty and spicy. Balanced leaning towards dry.

Comment:
A really solid 18 year old sherry matured release. The nose is great. The palate isn't as intense as you'd expect, but decent. It's good, but maybe not as good as I was hoping, pricey, which is a problem because that puts it in competetion with Glendronach 18 which I think is superior in a similar style. This would probably have been better at somewhere around 48% ABV I think.
