All tasting notes
Nose: honey, floral, pear, plum, Vanilla, Bourbon
Palate: in the beginning- sweet, but it quickly gets bitter. Pepper, orange zest, sulphuric, green tea
Finish: alkoholic note, a little bit of metallic note, Honey
It better smells as tastes. I won't buy another bottle
[edit]
The first impression was mistakable. It tastes good indeed. After a few more drams... I'm convinced that this Whisky is really not so bad. For such a price (23€ Sky, Germany), it's a perfect idea to buy it. I have it together (Glas by Glas) with Bushmills 10, which I really enjoy. I must say - both of them are good, but the Glenfiddich is a bit BORING. Perfect to start with.
78/100
Deutsch:
Nase: Honig, Blumen, Birne, Pflaume, Vanille, Bourbon

Taste: Sweet, light spice and light oak
Finish: Short
Comment: A very good dram, not exceptional but a solid 4 stars

Sweet scent of vanila and fresh light fruits mixes with pleasant maltiness. Very light on nose with no noticeable alcohol. Juicy apple and a ouple of peppery peaks reached my nose.
With time more honey-like and caremel flavours develop.
Taste:

Initially sweet, develops into more acidic fruity tones. Oily. Something herbal and stingy, like ginger with a hint of pepper mint, stays for a while on tongue and palate. Next sips bring nice oak, malt and more apples with some a little bit heavier and sweeter fruits.
Finish:
Medium, fruity, oaky and smooth.
Comment:
Quite lovely dram in a decent price. A little bit flat and preatty simple to drink, but yet sippable.
