Nosing:
A soft note of sherry followed by vanilla and honey. A floral essence envelopes the entire nose as well.
Taste:
Sweet apple and melon notes followed by cocoa power and brown sugar, natural floral notes and the tiniest hint of rye towards the back.
Finish:
Lightly warm and naturally sweet, medium longevity. Leaves behind a sort of sherry and flowery taste.
Comment:
This is the best tasting and smelling Canadian whisky I've had to date, it has a good balance of sweetness without being too sweet or artificial tasting, the finish is superior to any other Canadian whisky I've had yet and the price point is reasonable. This may become my Canadian whisky of choice for daily sipping.
