Like all Caol Ila single malts, the 25-year-old is lighter and finer than you would expect from an Islay Malt. The 25-year-old flows deep golden and oily into the Nosing glass. Its sweet-spicy fragrance with notes of dried fruit and seafood flatters the nose and continues on the palate as a sweet-fruity taste event with balancing bitter tones and fine malty smokiness.
