Benriach - 2012 Malting Season - First Edition

Once a year in the 'Malting Season', Benriach is malting local barley traditionally by hand on their historical malting floors in the distillery. Benriach is one of the last two distilleries in the Speyside, which distils Whisky with barley from their own malthouses. This is to honour a tradition, which began with the founding of the distillery by John Duff in 1898.
