The Glenlivet Founder's Reserve matured in American first-fill American casks for the biggest part and was dedicated to the early beginnings of the distillery. The Glenlivet was the first distillery in the Speyside that was officially licensed. It is operating since 1814 and is one of the biggest Malt Whisky producers by now.

Finish: Medium, slightly creamy, metallic
Comment: My 1st single malt, making rating difficult. However, not bad and would not be offended if someone offered a dram.
