Nosing:
Sweet vanilla and toffee, hints of fruit and a subtle musky smell that I can't pinpoint.
Taste:
Fruity, sweet with subtle hints of almond and a slight chocolatey taste
Finish:
The finish really brings out the nutty flavour, almost like pineseeds and almonds with a rich chocolate and oily aftertaste.
Comment:
Overall I like this whisky but it isn't my favourite. It's far too subtle for me and I don't feel like it has a great amount of complexity; however it is a great whisky for the price, and well worth having as a go to for guests. It has no alcohol burn at all and so it suits well for an everyday dram.
