Balvenie 17 Years Double Wood

Like its younger brother, this 17-year-old Balvenie was matured in two different kinds of casks. First it was matured in American oak barrels and then in European ex-sherry casks. David Steward has created a truly complex and aromatic whisky.

Comment: This was yet again a beautiful product by Balvenie. I didn't like it as much as the 15 years old single barrel Sherry cask as I love a strong Sherry note and this one didn't have it as much but was still very good.
