Glenfarclas 21 Years
This exceptional single malt is among the cheapest of all 21-year-old malt whiskeys. It contains more smoke than other Glenfarclas. But in comparison only a subtle touch. The sherry taste takes a back seat in favor of oak, vanilla and fruits.

Taste:
Finish:
Comment: very rich all the way through. this is my first "old" whiskey and i wasn't expecting it to be so sweet, but it maintains the sweetness while also adding layers through it's age. The nuttiness you often find in other sherry cask scothes is much lighter, but still present, so that's why I went with hazelnut.
Sherry fruit floral, then a hint of apple
Taste:
green apple come out at once, several fruits then burst out, sherry and nuts appear with a little spice malt and oil feeling. Chocolate at last
Finish:
coffee nuts chocolate
Comment: Amazing price for a 21 yo, about 80 USD only
