Nosing: Fruity, Apples, Pear, Vanilla
Taste: Sweet, Fruit, Vanilla, hint of Oak
Finish: Lingering sweetness, wood, alcohol
Comment: I've had several fancy whiskies and always find myself going back to Gelnmorangie. Maybe for sentimental reasons as this one was my introduction to fine whiskey. I always have some on hand and the 10 year old is more of a daily sipper.
