Nosing: An initial smell of port. Sweetness, oranges. Oak arrives after a minute or two.

Taste: Sweet, lots of orange, viscous and deliciously thick. Spicy (nutmeg?).

Finish: Long, warm, with a touch of oak.

Comment: An excellent whisky. I love the port influence and balanced orange sweetness. I always have a bottle open; it's a must-have to round out some of the drier, smokier whiskies in my collection.
