St. Kilian 5 Years - 2018 ex Ungarische Eiche
For this smoky bottling from the new Small Batch series, three 95-litre barrels made from fresh Hungarian oak from the renowned Dolium cooperage were selected. They were medium toasted on the inside before filling and milled to increase the surface area. After five years of maturation, the single malt whisky is not only distinguished by its colour, but also reveals complex, dark fruit aromas with a creamy, dry sweetness and delicate peat smoke.
