Nosing:
Sweet and fruit led. Pineapple and red apple. Some sweet spiciness - cinnamon showing through.
Taste:
Intense, sweet arrival. Dried tropical fruits, lemon oil and melon. Fruit intensity and white pepper heat build over time. Quite a thick creamy mouthfeel.
Finish:
Long. Fruitiness remains for a considerable period, then transitions into more woody flavours.
Comment:
This is a really good whisky to have a go at if you're a bit tired of the heavily cask influenced bottlings out there. This is a lot more spirit driven. The flavour intensity is on point, and the whole thing just works really well. This is sort of what I feel like you would get if you took one of the more basic 'beginner' fruit led malts and amped it up to 11. A bit more expensive, but well worth trying if you can find it.

Nosing: white wine like,
Taste: quite dry. perhaps the driest (lacking sweetness) whisky I've had.
Finish: very gentle
Comment: This is a very approachable 15y, not very spicy at all. I like this style, this is a good one and evokes summer and warm weather.
