Comment:
Taste: Sweet, light spice and light oak
Finish: Short
Comment: A very good dram, not exceptional but a solid 4 stars
Sweet scent of vanila and fresh light fruits mixes with pleasant maltiness. Very light on nose with no noticeable alcohol. Juicy apple and a ouple of peppery peaks reached my nose.
With time more honey-like and caremel flavours develop.
Taste:
Initially sweet, develops into more acidic fruity tones. Oily. Something herbal and stingy, like ginger with a hint of pepper mint, stays for a while on tongue and palate. Next sips bring nice oak, malt and more apples with some a little bit heavier and sweeter fruits.
Finish:
Medium, fruity, oaky and smooth.
Comment:
Quite lovely dram in a decent price. A little bit flat and preatty simple to drink, but yet sippable.
