Another great example for Andrew Symington's (owner of Edradour) hobby of finding and choosing excotic casks to mature his whisky. The Rum finish results in a fresh, sweet taste in the whisky.

The Edradour was matured in traditional oak casks and then finished in Port wine casks. This procedure took 12 years. Out came a whisky with a lot of character and sweetness.

Nose: Fruity, with berries and grapes, but not too sweet
Taste: Also berries, but a lot more Grapes than in batch number one.
Finish: Long and warming.
