Summary Independent Bottlings vs Original Bottlings
It is surprising that from the point of view of the consumer there is almost no difference between independent bottlings and original bottlings, neither regarding the distillery identification rate nor the chill filtration/non chill filtration identification rate nor the quality rating. There are only small deviations. With a deviation of 2.5%, non chill filtered original bottlings were rated slightly better by the consumer (+0.1 scale points on a 1 to 5 scale).
Expectedly, the result for independent bottlings is the same. Only the non chill filtered samples are rated 2.5% worse.
