Tasting notes of BirdArvid:

All tasting notes
Heavy with rich dried fruit, hints of mint and oranges covered with a dusting of cocoa. Faint vanilla and tobacco spice.
Taste:
Rich, chewy, rounded and smooth, with complex citrus, cinnamon and cocoa.
Toffee, caramel, chocolate and spice notes abound.
Finish:
Silky smooth, almost creamy at first with a long, warm satisfying tail.

Menthol, black pepper and lemon peel. Horseradish - which I also smell on their rye whisky. This bourbon also has a fair amount of rye in it which makes some sense.
Taste:

Intense and savoury arrival. Spicy oak, some citrus still showing through. Hot grated fresh ginger.
Finish:

Medium length, peppery and oaky, quite dry.
Comment:
I got a bottle of this after trying their straight rye release. I think of the two this is definitely the one I would go back to. It is very intense throughout and has the same horseradish component all the way through (particularly on the nose). I'm not sure if this is something which comes predominantly from the rye or if it's distillery character showing through but I haven't come across it in other bourbons. yet. Not sure if I prefer it over scotch, but it definitely has its charms, and is well priced for the quality of spirit.
