Auchentoshan Virgin Oak

This Auchentoshan is one of the very few Scotch whiskies that where matured in fresh casks. Auchentoshan chose American white oak for their casks to not get a too heavy taste. Although the fresh casks result in a very spicy single malt.

Nose: Cinnamon with nuts vanilla and sweet oranges.
Taste: Spiced apple, soft chocolate and caramel
Finish: Warm with spicy orange and brown sugar.
