This Glenglassaugh is part of the Octaves Classic Series. Master blender Rachel Barrie carefully selected casks for this second batch. Octave casks only have 1/8 of a Butt and the Whisky has more contact with the wood, which enhances the taste and aroma. For this bottling, Bourbon, Port and Sherry casks were used.
