Glenallachie 12 Years new bottling
The 12 year old Glenallachie is the heart of the new series of the distillery. It matured in Ex-Sherry casks (Pedro Ximenénz and Oloroso) and in new oak casks.
Under the leadership of Billy Walker, a prior master distiller of various famous distilleries Glenallachie was brought back to life. The distillery was only producing for the Blend industry in the last years, with the last original bottling being from 2005. Overall 4 different bottlings the new core range includes. All of them are not coloured, non-chill-filtered and matured in different cask types. The recent batch of this bottling has a higher part of Sherry cask maturation.
